Our Story

A tradition carried forward, not reinvented

Mahayogi Gorakhnath Maharishi Patanjali Yog Sansthan was founded in 2018 in Ayodhya with a simple conviction: that the science of Yoga, Naturopathy and Vedic living should not be locked away in scattered lineages — it should be taught with the same rigor as any serious discipline, and made reachable for anyone willing to learn.

What began as a single center in Agaganj, Tikri has grown into a pan-India network of affiliated institutes, each carrying the same curriculum, the same standards, and the same commitment to teaching this knowledge properly — not diluted for convenience, not stripped of its depth for speed.

We are registered as an autonomous trust under the Indian Trusts Act, 1882, and our teacher-training pathways are affiliated with the World Yoga Alliance and Universal Yoga Alliance — so that wherever our graduates go, their training is recognised.
